Some updates on being 32 weeks pregnant:

- I am walking at a SNAIL'S PACE. Kyle has just started going and getting (or doing) things for me. I thought, at first, that he was being really sweet, but I have come to find out that it's just too painful or frustrating for him to watch me waddling to do it myself and taking twice as long as I should.

- Any time I bend down to get something, I look like a sumo wrestler. I have to take a super-wide stance to get the belly out of the way of my legs. I laugh every time I drop something on the floor, because I know what's coming.

- I am in a constant state of hunger. I often have to sleepily shuffle to the kitchen at 3 am to eat a banana or a granola bar because I wake up so hungry that I feel like I'm going to throw up. Not my favorite part of being pregnant.

I had a dream the other night that I gave birth to the baby at home really early (like, she just kind of fell out) and we called the doctor and he told Kyle to "just put her back in."

I have my 4th of FIVE baby showers this weekend at our church. We are so fortunate to have so many people who love us so much! Last Sunday our youth group time was a baby shower (#3) for me and Kyle. Our students bobbed for pacifiers in a baby bathtub filled with questionable looking water from the hose outside, chugged root beer from baby bottles, answered Kyle and Jenny trivia, and ate a cake that looked like a rocking horse. It was so fun.

Pictures and videos to come... maybe even a new belly picture, if I'm feeling brave.

  2. Jenny, Jenny, Jenny..you make me laugh. It's true that pregnancy and delivery make for some entertaining experiences and then entertaining stories for years to come. I remember being almost 8 months pregnant...(and at that time, we still believed it was 1 baby)...and walking, simply walking from my car into work and just falling forward onto my hands and knees for no reason at all...other than I was front heavy...weebles wobble and they do fall down!
